Abigail is a freelance director and adaptor. Her recent productions have received critical acclaim, her adaptation of Pride and and Prejudice was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Adaptation whilst her production of David Copperfield was nominated for eight Fringe Awards, winning Best Ensemble. Between 2017 and 2025 she was Associate Director of The Watermill.

Abigail has also directed many drama school productions for schools including LAMDA, Rose Bruford, Mountview, Arts Ed and Guildford School of Acting. She has worked as Associate/ Resident/ Assistant on many productions for directors including Sir Richard Eyre, Lindsay Posner, Chris Luscombe, Paul Hart and Thom Southerland.
